Euan Shields conducts at Buxton Octagon Hall in a program that brings together Classical elegance and Romantic depth.
The concert opens with the Overture to Oberon by Carl Maria von Weber, a spirited and imaginative work full of color and dramatic flair.
Annemarie Federle joins as soloist for the Horn Concerto No. 1 by Richard Strauss, a lyrical and virtuosic showcase for the instrument.
